Video Shows Advantages of Adaptive Metadata in Picturepark

Modula4 partner Picturepark has released a video that demonstrates the advantages of Adaptive Metadata. Adaptive Metadata describes metadata schemas that can be asset-specific and change over time. Advertising assets can have the metadata fields they need such as Campaign and Product, while financial reports have Fiscal Year and Business Unit fields. Schemas can also evolve over time, so you can have the Due Date and Editor fields you need for drafts, while you have the Archive Date and Archive Location fields you need for older content.

This feature can also be used to give different stakeholders metadata sets based on their own specific needs. Adaptive metadata is a feature unique to Picturepark.

You can view the video on adaptive metadata here.
