Prefiller Module
The Prefiller Module makes it significantly easier to enter metadata. It is extremely convenient while offering a great degree of flexibility as well as numerous entry checks.
Using dialogs, our module easily and safely guides users through the process of creating metadata. One click allows you to transfer your settings to other records as well. No worries: it is also possible to change individual values once they have been transferred. Your workflow has never been faster or easier.
Numerous entry checks prevent errors. For example, it is not possible to enter letters into a numeric field. In the case of string list fields, you will be offered drop down menues for selecting the values, for Boolean fields there will be checkboxes. Individual fields can be set as mandatory fields. That way, compliance with your workflow is guaranteed.
The entry masks for users are based on templates. For these, we utilize time-tested meta-data templates by Cumulus. Thus, you (or your administrators) do not have to learn any extra work steps. Another bonus is that the usage of individual templates can be linked to certain existing user rights effortlessly.
The creation of metadata templates is extremely flexible. You can choose from a variety of different templates and select any field you like. You can offer users the templates for selection or tie them to certain user rights and then assign them automatically. Numerous presettings are available. By far not the only benefit of the Prefiller Module, is the fact that your admin can switch it on or off as soon as the workflow requires it.
The Prefiller Module is compatible with Cumulus beginning with version 7. It replaces the Prefiller by Canto, which is integrated by default.
