LDAP Import Module
Our LDAP Import Module is an extension of the Cumulus software by Canto. It allows you to import user-administration data from LDAP or the Active Directory. You can also assign user rights automatically. In the case of the Cumulus Enterprise Solution, you do not have to create any users already existent in LDAP. With the Workgroup Solution, however, each user must be created manually. Our module closes this gap. It is especially suitable for large companies that work with the Workgroup Solution and that don't want to forego the advantages of automated user administration.
With the help of our module, you can effortlessly transfer user data from LDAP or the Active Directory to the user administration of your Cumulus Workgroup Solution. When users are created in Cumulus, their password is automatically verified in LDAP during the login process. That way, users do not have to remember their passwords. Prototype users can be used like roles, so you can automate the process of issuing different kinds of user rights.
