Search Module
With our Search Module tool, you can locate your digital assets much more easily. We have developed two versions for you. The Search Module Client extends the basic functionality of the Cumulus Client and can be used with version 7.5 and higher. The Search Module Web is designed for Web Publisher Pro 3.0 and higher, and enhances its basic functionality.
In both versions, our Quick Search replaces the standard integrated Cumulus search function, offering even greater functionality and flexibility. You'll see for yourself how easy it is to use.
Important features of our Search Modules:
- Easy to use
- Search with familiar logical operators such as „and”, „or”, and „not”
- Conduct searches using complete phrases or single word fragments
- Search results are based on the use of all or fewer words, with a minimum of one
- Full functionality of the Cumulus client
- Choose the fields which can be accessed with a Quick Search
- Choose the search criteria and logical operators such as „is”, „is not”, „contains”, „does not contain”, etc.
- Searches with the logical operator „contains” are also possible with string list fields
The Search Module Web offers you a number of other tools as well. That way, when you use the Advanced Quick Search Tag, you're in charge of choosing how you want search parameters set up, including whether and how to use logical operators such as „and”, „or”, and „not”. The Search Tag can be placed anywhere in Cumulus in order to find specific data collections. Let's take, for example, a search to find all records that were cataloged on a specific date. All Tags are easily combined to create special search parameters. For example, the results of a Quick Search with wide search criteria can be limited to the display of specific records, in order to control access to certain data according to an individual's access control privileges.
Different Tags can be combined in order to create flexible searches; however, only one type of search will be conducted at one time, so that flexibility doesn't compromise speed.
What makes the Search Module Client so special is its extremely easy-to-grasp user guidance. Configure it and easily set your preferences, without any prior knowledge. Your searches will become even faster and more targeted.
