eCommerce Solution
Our e-Commerce Solution enhances the capability of Canto's Cumulus Software, making it possible for you to offer your customers pictures as paid downloads, simply and securely. Our solution is compatible with all versions of Web Publisher Pro, as well as with Internet Client Pro.
Our module is designed for maximum flexibility, so that it's easily adapted to meet your specific needs. For instance, the automatic price calculator for the shopping cart is not limited by fixed prices. Prices can be sorted by item quantity, size, type, or other factor, and calculated accordingly. Parameters for this can be read out of the corresponding data set in Cumulus, or if you prefer, from specific fields in a different databases, using its API.
The module also allows for the integration of different credit and debit card payment processors for your customers who pay with bankcards. Your customers' credit and debit cards are verified directly over the Internet before payments are processed. Our enhancement module is already set up to work with the Verisign Payflow link; however, it's easily set up to accept other payment processors as well. Additionally, the module can be set up to accept alternative payment methods, such as automatic bank account debits.
The addition of our module to your Cumulus application makes it possible to pull customer and user data out of different databases, such as an LDAP directory, where customer data may already be stored. As a final touch, each transaction is confirmed to both customer and seller with an automated email notification.
