The New Web Module

The first thing you'll notice when you use our new Web Module is the improved design. You will have no trouble navigating – and the second novelty will blow your mind: drastically increased speed when you call up previews and thumbnails. Once you've tried them you won't want to miss those new functions for anything.

What you won't notice, in contrast, is the module's changed architecture. As invisible as this improvement may be, its effects are major. It allows you to activate future add-ons right away and so, take advantage of additional functions.

New Design

Get the big picture on our Web Module's new design with our online demo. See for yourself: the tabs and toolbars have been further simplified and offer an even better overview. Navigating has never been so fast and effortless. Also, user-guidance is now even more intuitive.

The changed design leads to increased efficiency in the download areas. Your records are now shown in tables. That way you can feature more records per page and select a conversion for them with a single mouse-click. Mini thumbnails ensure you always keep a clear overview. Additionally, you can show the Quick Info as usual.

Increased Speed

You will be surprised at the increased speed. Using Smart Caching, we have accelerated the process of showing previews. If you want to see a preview in a different size, it appears significantly faster. If you have already called up a certain preview image during this session, it now appears immediately upon call-up.

This effect has also been applied to thumbnails. Try it out in our online demo.

New Functions

The Web Module also offers a series of helpful new functions. Among these are:

Zoom Slider for Previews

Using a lever, you can scale the size of the previews from 512 to 2500 pixels. That way you can decide right away whether the magnified image is the size you wanted without having to load the picture in a lengthy process.

Print

Now you can print out all the displayed records with a single mouse-click. To do so, just select one of the print templates created in Cumulus.

Expand Category Tree

From now on, you can expand the display area of the category tree. That way even very long category names can be shown unabridged. The display area for records is adjusted automatically.

Category Display under Quick Info

Now you can choose whether you want to see only the category's name or its complete path. The latter option might be useful when the name is not a telling one or it is easily confused with similar names.

If you click a category under Quick Info, you launch a search for all other records belonging to that category. That way you save an extra step during your search.

Modified Architecture

The most significant change is the least tangible one at first. We changed the architecture of the Web Module. You can't see this but you will soon benefit from this change. Because the new architecture allows you to activate future add-ons right away without making further adjustments and going through elaborate re-programming procedures.

Look forward to several new add-ons with numerous additional functions available very soon.

Add-Ons Available Soon

Image Converter Web

This add-on allows you to choose freely which records are scaled to which size using which format. This way you are no longer confined to pre-defined conversions. Of course, you can save the selected conversions and use them as often as you like. Projected release: May 2008.

Discussion Board

A discussion board boosts cooperation within your company. You can ask questions regarding usage but also get information about individual records. If discussions revolve around a specific record, the forum's overview will display the corresponding thumbnail. If you click the thumbnail, you can call up the Quick Info within the forum. The other functions are available as usual. Projected release: June 2008

Log Module Add-On

Soon we will be offering our time-tested Log Module as an add-on for our Web Module. Two modules in one and the added convenience of the Log Module's report functions. Projected release: July 2008.

More add-ons coming soon.
